Trent’s connection to trucking started long before he owned a brokerage. His father ran a trucking business and brought him into the industry, teaching him how the business worked and what was at stake for the people behind the wheel.
His father later lost that business after dealing with bad brokers. For Trent, the impact of a broker’s decisions is not an abstract lesson—it is part of his family’s story. That experience shapes the importance he places on understanding the carrier’s side of the relationship.
Today, Trent runs an active freight brokerage and teaches the prospecting, quoting, and operational systems he uses in the business. His perspective brings together the trucking background he learned from his father and the day-to-day work of a brokerage owner.
